Hi now my wife has had a refund via a company called the claim guys legal
For £60 for working from home
She has not instructed this company to put this claim and she has never worked from home during the COVID-19 pandemic or any other time
They kept 48% and charge her £10 admin fee as well I've tried ringing them but you just can't get through to them

I emailed them that assured me it's a lagitimate claim I said it's not as she not worked from home we told the we will not be cashing the cheque and goin to report this to the police and HMRC
Is there anything else I/we need to do
Thanks
Dannt

If you're wife is certain she has never authorised them to act on her behalf then she could ask HMRC to remove them as her agent.
