Unfortunately, as you probably know, these cases are "loss leaders" for the vermin. Overwhelmingly, they succeed with these claims well before they ever get to court as the vast majority of them are paid by the low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree. It is only the relatively few who manage to discover this forum and follow the advice who get these discontinuances.patient_dream said:
Well done. it's really getting to the point that we must ask ....RedDragonHpc said:
Nice one @Umkomaas (or should I say nice three).Umkomaas said:Bearing in mind my 3 usernames, I'm looking forward to seeing what one-liner @Umkomaas comes up with on the UKPC/DCB Legal roll of dishonour.Success recorded in the DCB Legal Discontinuations thread of shame. Well done to the three of you! 👍👍👍
Does the boss of DCBL need some sort of medical help for keeping on wasting the time of the County Courts
It's clearly an addiction and there is help available, maybe via the MoJ2

Agreed. I still don't understand when I've made it clear years ago that I'm MSE-aware and taking it all the way to court, why they continue. They are definitely wasting their funds, and it's clear that I'm not going to pay up. Perhaps they let it go right down to the wire (less than 2 weeks before having to submit the court paperwork) as a punitive measure?B789 said:

However, I actually don't care about the redundant paperwork, because I'm a professional writer, and was looking forward to polishing my draft witness statement! It's my time and all the years my wife worried about the situation that I regret. Vermin indeed.0

I doubt it is "punitive". As I mentioned, there are many thousands of victims who are not "MSE aware" who capitulate just before any hearing date and pay up.RedDragonHpc said:

There are even more who just bury their heads in the sand and get default judgments.
For all their intellectual malnourishment, they have for now, a very profitable business model. Don't forget, they can write off the cost of their losses against their tax bill.2
