I'm sure I've seen adhesive pads that are sold in car accessory places to stick these back into place. I would assume that the instructions would say whether they can be used with a heated mirror or not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hi
what car/model/year is it and is it heated/auto dime/etc/etc
Thanks0 -
I'm more confused now, if you see the pics below, was this a mirror stuck onto the actual wing mirror?

Nothing stuck to the original mirrorIt's absolutely the original mirror / glass, that's just what they look like when the glass falls off.The glass is just stuck to a slightly shiny plastic backplate.Common as muck problem with them.Any generic wingmirror adhesive pad will do (it's not like it actully gets much more than warm), but it'll fall off again before too long most likely.Original glass assembly is extortionate (£70), and generic replacements are available, but vary widely in quality. Those from eBay / China tend to be LHD, with a pretty dubious convex blindspot bit- Avoid.Local car parts factor will be anywhere from £30 - £40.1

You can get adhesive pads that are also used to stick number plates on.0
