Hi guys just a couple questions regarding the N180 form:

    1. For section D1, is it essential I put "No" down? What is the benefit of going to a hearing?
    2. Do I file this form with the court and claimant via email?
    1. You will most likely lose if the case is heard just 'on the papers'. You don't want to take any risks on that especially with £3k in play.
    2. Yes.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks, in that case, when it asks to state why I want a hearing I wrote:

The Defendant requests that the case be listed for an oral hearing at the defendant’s home court, pursuant to CPR 26.2A(3)

    Is this ok?

    No, that isn't enough.

No question here is new, just search the forum each time and you will always find your answer.

Hi Guys, I recently got back from my overseas work to find out that the judge has thrown out my defence because I'm not a tenant at the household (I never claimed to be!!) and because I didn't give evidence of me being out of the country (even though I asked what type of evidence they wanted because I was unsure, and to which they never responded). Unfortunately, the judge also thought that the £170 charge for each ticket was fair.

I'm sorry but there's no way I'm coughing up £3k for parking outside my own house, somewhere I've lived for over 15 years.

The solicitor of the parking company is also threatening to get the bailiff involved if I don't contact them within the next few days...

Any advice? Please I'm really scared, I don't want the bailiff showing up to my parents house.
