Yes my NI record shows the credits when I received HRP. However for those year where I paid enough NI it only shows paid employment.Wrath_of_Kain said:

Or more to the point, your wife might be.The (potential) good news is that if your records show that you have a full year through paid employment you can apparently apply to get the credits associated with Child Benefit transferred to your spouse - I'm not sure if there is a limit on how far back you can go though, or of the exact process of doing it.Edit: looks like it's your wifr that needs to apply to get them transferred

Oh and then you get to the last paragraph !!!!!!
"Any HRP you had before 6 April 2010 have been converted into National Insurance credits (up to a maximum of 22 years). You must have reached State Pension age on or after 6 April 2010 for these credits to go towards your State Pension."
