Apologies if already flagged up, I couldn't find another thread.

It's been inevitable for a while, but looks like it's finally happening :disappointed: no letter yet but there's a banner in the Nottingham branch with a QR code pointing to that link.

I hope the account linking process works correctly so I can close it down from the same login I use for my Co-operative Bank Current Account.

Funnily enough I was speaking to a lady at the Co-Op a couple of months ago and happened to ask her what was happening with Britannia. She said all Britannia accounts would become Co-Op by the end of 2023.

A couple of weeks later my mum had a letter from Co-Op saying the Britannia accounts would be no more and her X would become a Y (I'd need to look at the letter to remember exactly what it said) and she would hear more in due course, which she hasn't yet.

I haven't had a letter yet though - same surname and same address but I have a different type of Britannia account.

End of an era for me - Britannia was the place I opened my first account and I have always kept an account there (albeit with hardly anything in for some years, as their rates are not good!)
