I contacted the DWP online December 10th to tell them that as of January 1st i would be earning too much as i was increasing my hours .
I was due a payment December 13th which i didn't get , when i spoke to them a while later i was told it was cancelled when i submitted the online form .
The person i spoke to was going to send the details to the relevant dept but its been 2 week and still nothing .
Anyone know the time scale they work to or is it worth calling again?

I'd write to the Carers Unit and request a Mandatory Reconsideration of the decision not to pay you CA in those December weeks.Redredrobin said:I contacted the DWP online December 10th to tell them that as of January 1st i would be earning too much as i was increasing my hours .

Personally I have little faith in DWP call-handlers passing on information and it being acted on in a reasonable time scale. At least with a written MR you are entering into a formal review process, I suggest you include copies of Dec wage slips to prove you were under the earnings limit.
