EIRC from electrician without NIC/EIC or NAPIT

I've found a nice price on an all-in-one home buyer package for someone to do the gas safety cert, EICR report and some other bits, but the electrician isn't registered. Should I leave it because of this? I know being registered to these orgs isn't necessary, and if it's anything like the other regulatory stamps in this country, probably doesn't mean a great deal, but I'm thinking along the lines of insurance and if something went wrong.

I would be sceptical of these all-in-one packages.0

Being a of a "Competent" persons scheme isn't required for any electrical work. It was once seen as a badge of standard but then got diluted by Part P which is a farce and not regulated at all. Best off to get recommendations from friends or family.0
