My car has I believe an immobiliser problem as the symbol will not come up on dashboard after ECU was flooded ( now cloned to a replacement ECU but attempting jump start possibly spiked immobiliser? )
Who do I get to look at though ? has to be mobile as won’t start ,mobile auto electrical mechanics are not interested and mobile auto locksmith’s just do doors and lockouts !?

What's the exact sequence of events leading up to this and who did the work (replaced ECU)?
How many people have been involved in the process so far?

This is one of the reasons insurance companies write off mildly flooded cars, just too many things that can go wrong with water ingress and electrics.
Auto electrician first then if that doesn't work, deactivate the immobiliser? Not much help but this could be nigh on impossible to fix without a lot of money.0 -
What are all the fuses like and the fuse boxes?
I seem to think there's one particular circuit with a fuse and if that blows the immobiliser won't deactivate.
You could do with the owners handbook, hopefully that should list what fuses do what or you could start pulling them all.
But saying that, if the fuses boxes have had a good soaking, they could be ruined as well.
