Well i ordered my contact lenses from this site and a week after the "2-3 working days that 90% of orders ship out in"" I recieved an email from another website (contactforlenses)

The email said the contactlens shipment has been confirmed.
I assumed that lensplanet ordered it from contactforlenses on my behalf

Im confused- are they part of the same company? and has this happened to anyone before?

and to finish off, the assumption that the lenses from contactforlenses are from the UK is wrong and their slogan "discount lenses from the UK" is incorrect in my case. Mine came from singapore :S You can see the customs sticker too

Slightly OT but they aren't that good. My housemate ordered some from there and they sent him the wrong prescription and then refused to refund. Try Daysoft, the lenses are brilliant and sooo cheap!

Hi, stay away from lensplanet!!! They charged my credit card within 24hrs, but even after over a month, I haven't received my lenses. The customer service guy answering the emails is ALWAYS "Andrew" (he must be working 24/7) and the emails have the exact same wording, no matter what my original request was. The company can't be reached by phone (hello???) and all legal claims need to be settled in Mumbai. Great chance I'm getting my money back So, be smarter than me and stay away from them!

Ordered lenses on the 22nd April, chased on the 30th as after my initial email I had heard nothing however the money had been debited from my account, the reply below came back shortly afterwards.

"Your order has been shipped on 29th April 2008. You can expect to receive it in the next 2-3 working days. Kindly confirm when you receive the order."

It's now been 14 days since ordered and still no sign of anthing in the post, I've "kindly confirmed" I haven't recieved the order and am awaiting a reply.
