Nearly every time I use my computer a message pops up from bt Wifi prompting me to pay it. I'm already with plus net. when I go to preferences to click on networks the blumming thing pops up again and I can't get rid of it for ages. It's a real pain. Does anyone know how to stop it?

Sounds more like a scam message caused by allowing notifications in Chrome from dodgy websites. Check "Block notifications " section.
