Finishing cloth

I have some wood to treat with omso oil. A look at YouTube tells me I need a finishing cloth. What is this this and where can I get one? A search in on the b and q website was useless

    That's correct, microfiber ones.
  • As previously mentioned, any lint free cloth would be ok. These would be perfect for your needs:

After using a cloth, make sure to wash it out or store in an airtight tin - Some oils, linseed in particular, is prone to spontaneous combustion under the right conditions. Not familiar with the makeup of Osmo Oil, so do have a read of the MSDS/Safety sheets.

I don't understand why cloth is needed. I used brushes and, possibly, even paint rollers without any problems. And yes, it was Osmo, different types.

YouTube video said to wipe with a lint free cloth then rub with a finishing cloth. I have the lint free cloth. I'm about to start with the brush so that is helpful Grumbler to know that worked for you

I tend to use an old T-shirt.
