helping son and wife move their stuff from our place tomorrow and their storage unit to London tomorrow. We will be white van man, and woman🚚

Afternoon all. Just got off video chat with friend in Australia. We always say we must do it more often and then we don't. It's good to see them though, they don't change, still funy and loud and crazy. The only thing that changes is physical ailments start getting worse...The pile to go is growing expeonentially now which is a good thing. I should be done by Monday and then I can organise where things are going. I've kept only the good hard bound sketchbooks which means the rest can go to an artist friend who will use them, as well as some other stuff. I'm keeping my brushes too but I have emptied a couple of the storage boxes so they'll be free for other things. Haven't gone through most of the clothes or the bed linen yet. That's the next job. Last push..Totally got distracted then, it's an hour later!Izzy, glad you had delicious cake, I'm sure work will make it melt away...carolbee, good luck with the move. Scarlet, it's a common theme. When I don't see someone for ages, it's what's new?!! And the answer, same old same old
Coxy, shame about the glasses, lets' hop they dot hem properly this time. Gers, until something like that happens I wouldn't have thought about how much we actually rely on being connected to everything [everywhere?all at once?
] but I would probably be lost without an interent social life. It's just so useful for doing all sorts. Iris, your girls trip made me smile. You and TA will be meeting up before long to do world righting..snoozer, oh that's just rubbish. Hope things improve over the weekend. Ruby, well done! Take care folks, and special nods to missing and incapacitated...

After being MIA for a couple of days just had a catch up on everyone's news.
OH and I had a good day out at a local (ish) NT property, weather bit dull, but dry and breezy, walked over 3 miles in the grounds and then had a bowl of soup for lunch, on the way backed called at retail park hoping to find a replacement floor lamp for the one that I had knocked over and smashed the day before.
Shopping at market today and quick coffee with friend, who, sadly, has had some bad news re health of a loved one.
OH has been cycling and I have just got back from my first proper walk with DDog, about a mile and he behaved pretty wall, Snowdrops, budding Daffs and some bright shiny yellow Winter Aconite, most cheering.
Have a good evening all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)9
