Chalk paint over satinwood
whitesatin
When I was younger and fitter, I painted the inside of our wooden cabin (summerhouse) with white satin wood. It’s been good but now I fancy a nice Annie Sloan Greek Blue colour though I’d have to opt for something cheaper. My question is would I have to sand it down first or can I paint over it as it is? It’s a large room and I’m 71 and counting so don’t want to bite off more than I can chew! Also, the floor is still the original pine, what can I do to that to make a change. I have white upholstery and furniture in there so itching to ring the changes. I’ll have to do the job myself, financially.

Ive just bought some of this Easy Surface Prep which claims to remove the need for sanding and you can just paint over it. Haven't tried it yet but it sounds promising!0
