Depends on the cost of gas connection, but it may be cheaper to remain all electric and install NSH's than install gas CH and DHW.
But in the meantime, switch to single rate, it's almost certainly costing you more than E7 if you have the heating on in the daytime, Why are you on this tariff if no NSH's?
NB: gas boilers are not being 'phased out in the next few years'. Gas boilers in new builds are being banned from 2030. But for 99% of the housing stock which already has them they will be around and working happily for decades. Assuming we can still get the gas to fuel them of course.

Why are you on an Economy 7 tariff if you don't have storage heaters?  If you do the sums you'll probably find it's costing you significantly more than would single rate.
Most suppliers will happily bill you at single rate without a meter change.
And just in case you missed it.
I moved into the property 2 months ago and this was the set up the previous owner had.

A lot of people get rid of 'old fashioned' NSH's without realising they are the most economic method of electric heating. And then compound the error by not switching to a single rate tariff.

I wonder whether there were previously NSH's there that were removed before they sold, in that case. Possible as a lot of people had the view that particularly older NSH's would impact on value.

Doing a bit of research on the current radiators, they are these water based (model 6080) ones www.hwelectric.co.uk/heat-electric.php (I cant post links)

Oh yes, those look suitably bank-breaking to run. At least they don't make any claims about being "ultra efficient" though!
