Hi
My son has had some trouble with the police and they have frozen his bank account so he is not able to pay his mortgage so me and his mother pays his mortgage. Any money he receives is frozen by the police this has been going on nearly 12 months.
Prior to his asset’s being frozen while working he had a serious accident and a large amount of money is due to be awarded we wanted advice on where we can put the money so this legitimate money cannot be frozen by the police we thought about a trust account any advice appreciated?

I'd have thought that any asset freezing would be imposed by courts rather than police, but it would be rash to rely on any input from posters on here who don't have sight of all the facts and circumstances - in particular the actual process involved and its detailed terms. Professional legal assistance may be needed - has there been any involved in securing the accident compensation?2

It would be best for your son to consult a solicitor.1
