I definitely think the Pure cream will be done tonight so will tot up my totals tomorrow.  To add to these I have two TAs

Ghost Pink Shimmer nail polish.  I was given this as part of a gift set for my birthday and I don't like it.  The shimmer leaves a coating on my nails when I'm removing it which I don't like.

Milk MakeUp Slayer lip lacquer.  I bought this on a whim from TK Maxx and have only just tried it today but it's awful.  It is a purple colour which has scared me.  It didn't look bad on application but it has worn off badly leaving my lips looking bruised.  It's going.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

The Pure cream did get finished last night.  Totals for Feb:-

    17 UUS
9 INS (did not count birthday gifts or perfume samples as these are tiny).

A so so month, I guess.

    Month totals

    • 21 OUTS (15 UU, 6 throw away)
    • 12 INS (7 replacements, 4 unnecessary, 1 new type of product- £86.29)
So 9 items out of my life this month.

Got a bit of a chunky IN arriving in a week or so, but that counts in March's tallies so it's not included here!

TKMaxx had lots of fine soaps and liquid savon de Marseille (for handwash and washing woollies and waterproofs,) on their clearance shelves, reduced for a second time. We avoid anything with SLS and harsh chemicals, and have gone back to proper soap, (not moisturising bars,) reducing our plastic a lot. Of course supermarket sensitive soap is cheaper, I use it in home made laundry liquid, but these are gorgeous for £2.50 for a box of three, £2 for a 300g bar.
    I have at least a year’s supply.

It must have been a struggle when soap and laundry powder was rationed, all except shaving soap. DH stocked up at bargain price when Wilkinsons Sword changed the shaving soap from blue to grey plastic containers. He ordered a new shaving brush and Amazon sent him a box full as one unit.

The large bottle of Sukin Shampoo from TKMaxx has lasted for years and I haven’t needed hair conditioner since we stopped using detergent shampoo.
I still haven’t gone back to the hairdresser since Covid and trim my own long hair and use the clippers on DH’s.
