Hello all, we had a lovely lunch at DD's and SGD had made a gooey chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, delicious but rather sickly so I only had a little piece, honest ! My coat had almost dried by the time we came home so I have finished it off indoors overnight.
I shall be pottering about today and keeping an eye on Mr Fix It as he's not feeling well so I have my nurses hat on this moring. No idea on tea yet but I may have salmon and a jacket potato then I'll see how Mr Fix It feels later, he may just want a sandwich.
dp1 I hope they see sense and keep the school open.
RedRuby Good news that you managed to get out of the house for a little while.
Camelot sorry that you're still not well. Hope DD and little one get better too.
Gers boohoo to losing power to the dw, hopefully your neighbour can resurrect it. Hope too that you don't go down with the cold, it's a stinker.
Carolbee well done on the win of £100 !!
Coxy think I'll pass on that meal 🤔
Iris enjoy the talk.
Scarlet hope the vampire nurse doesn't take too much and leave you with an empty sleeve 😂
NMLC hope work goes well today and you're not too busy.

Hi everyone,
It's already afternoon and I have done very little, apart from being sucked into buying stuff from the middle of Lidl when I just popped in for a couple of things. The cleaner has been so all the bathrooms are pristine again.
Steve is coughing for England, he spent the night downstairs so I had a decent night's sleep. Esben is getting better but is resisting going to nursery, I think he's finding it hard that Esther is at home with mummy. He does love it when he's there so we're not being cruel making him go even though it seems so when he's crying and screaming about it.
Mushroom stroganoff for dinner tonight so that won't take long. I made another loaf yesterday, they seem to be coming out very consistently so I'm fairly happy about that and also about the fact that we seem to be wasting far less bread now (and it costs less than buying good bread.
Have a good day.

Afternoon all, dull, grey, windy....I didnt have a good nights sleep, heavy rain disturbed me, then the cats belonging to next door but 1&2 started fighting and howling at 4.30 which disturbed dearDog who then wanted to go out for a wee, ended getting up at 6.30
.. Just as well I did as DS2 rang at 7, DGD had been sick in the night, he needed to take DGS to school at 8. Very hurried dogwalk then Dh took me over & met DS at work once he'd got back from school. DGD was still in bed and only woke at 10.30, mind you she'd been in the bathroom since 4 until 6
Just hope I don't get it! The men came back at 1 and DH and I came home, they can't do anything further today. W e have to pick DGS up again later.
Taff, the good news is the van photos must have done the trick because we got a call from a garage to say they'd be sending a truck to pick up the van this morning, and it's gone now. I hope it can be fixed as DH has been looking at used vans online , and they are selling for more than we paid from a dealer 5 years ago !!I watched Sort YLife out last night, and felt all fired up to have another go today but my bad night, and DGD's have put paid to that, wonder if I've time for a nap before school pick upI have read but my sleep starved brain can't recall what I read sorry, but hope you are all doing ok x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Thursday already….. been very very busy at work, disgustingly so. Our team is under a lot of pressure and I’ve worked on almost every day this week, 2 nights not finishing til gone 6:30…. Needless to say I am exhausted. Treatment day tomorrow and that will wipe me right out until Sunday afternoon. So very little housework but that’s fine, hubby helps where he can and if I throw dog number 2s ball under some cupboards he very helpfully brings out all the dust at the same time 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dog 1 has been under the weather this week - our walk the other day involved very gentle stick throwing (I am so careful with sticks) but one smacked her right on the nose 😳😳 at an awkward angle. Must have stung like crazy bless her.
anyway I’m rambling! Night x⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
