APCOA ticekt - Ringo App with wrong number plate

I have received a parking ticket for not having a valid ticket parking in my local train station car park.
It was my mistake, I used the Ringo App, but I used my wife's number plate instead of mine.
I have appealed the ticket, sending them the Ringo receipt and a photo of the V5 for my wife's car showing that I am the owner and the number plate. I suggested that if they check their CCTV, they will see that my otehr car did not enter the car park and that my receipt is dated just 90 seconds after the photo they sent me of my car entering the car park.
What do you think my chances are for appealing this?
Anything else I could add as mitigating circumstances?

You'll get offered to pay £20. That's the rate for a keying error; set in the BPA Code of Practice.
APCOA do not have CCTV and they do not watch people paying...why do so many people think that they do? ANPR is not CCTV.
You could have paid nothing had you come here first & appealed as registered keeper, instead of telling them who was driving... I wish people would come here first and not appeal!
Next time come here first.
Is this a PENALTY CHARGE NOTICE from a station or a PARKING charge notice from elsewhere?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks Coupon-mad, you were spot-on, my appeal was refused, but they have imposed the BPA rule and I have just paid my £20 fine.
Just out of interest, how else could I have appealed?0 -
