Hotpoint fridge freezer problem

My 11 year old Hotpoint HM 315 FF intergrated fridge freezer is playing up, yesterday I noticed the bottom freezer drawer was not freezing properly, but the top basket is frozen.
Today I opened the fridge and it’s ‘warm’ there is not much in the fridge, but the freezer drawers are full. I have just emptied the bottom drawer,
Any idea what the problem could be?

If you are able you can take all the freezer draws out and remove the back panel ( its only screwed on ,well it is on our Hotpoint freezer ) and check its not iced up and blocking the channels where the cold air flows.1

I looked at this troubleshooting page in the online manual Troubleshooting - Hotpoint HM315FF Operating Instructions Manual [Page 9] | ManualsLib and wonder if your freezer has been overfilled or the water discharge hole is blocked.
