Hi

I just went to pay off my Zable card balance with another card as the rate is high on Zable and lower on the other. The app would not let me process this and customer services say that they do not allow balance transfers in or out.

Is this legal?

It sounds somewhat unusual.  If you do a BT then as far as Zable is concerned it's just another payment, they don't usually care where the payment comes from.  Does your "other" card have a BT offer available at the moment, and did you try to initiate the BT from the "other" card's app?
You do need to know who "owns" both cards, as you can't usually BT between cards owned by the same umbrella company.

    Yes it is legal.
There are/were quite a few cards that could not be Balance Transferred to. Due to the banking systems they used.

Only option  is a money transfer card to send money to your bank account & then pay that way.

Thanks for your replies. its not that they are owned by the same company Zable do not allow no matter what card you are trying to use.
