Barclays internal transfers ?

Yesterday, I banked in cash at a Barclays branch and on returning home checked my online statement. The money showed as cleared.
I then transferred some money into e-savings (internal transfer). The transaction went through immediately with no problems.
Checking my online statement today, it shows that I was overdrawn for a brief period because the transactions were not reflected in chronological order, i.e. the internal transfer shows before the cash banked in !
Just hope they're not going to charge me for that.

They wouldnt be. Banks use standard accountancy debits before credits.
Until the banks move to real time banking you are fine with this.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Got a bit worried when I saw the negative figure in the running balance.0
