Parking Ticket Help

Hi,

Received a letter of claim today regarding a parking ticket from Feb 2022, emailed a SAR to the PPC, and received a response with the pictures taken. The fine was issued at 02:17 in the morning on a large industrial estate where I was working. I never saw any signs saying that you were not allowed to park there and when I got the pictures back, this is the picture of the parking sign I was sent. I don't believe that this sign was anywhere near where I was parked as it is a very large estate and I have found out that not all of this estate is private parking. Can someone advise if I can appeal due to the lack of evidence from the sign?

You can't appeal at LBC stage.

But you will win and never pay anything, if you read/follow the NEWBIES thread second post.  Easy enough and it will be discontinued later on this year.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top of this/any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

Thanks, I have got the SAR info from the PPC and sent the email to dbc legal. Do I have to do anything else now as I can’t find any information to complain to the landowner as it was an industrial estate.
  • Just to mention I was parked on the road of the industrial estate, is a road classed as private when it is public access with no barriers?

Depends who owns it, not who can access it

I'm not sure I would rely on that. You need to check with the local council. We've seen PCCs ticket on public highways before.
