Just answer website

Hi
I used the Just Answer website thinking I had used my NatWest debit card for a one of payment.  I found out 5 months later that this company has been taking £50.00 out of my account every month.  Apparently there is a small print where you have to notify them that you no longer require their services.  Otherwise they carry on taking money out of your account.
Does anyone know if I can get my money back?

Yes if you can prove you asked them to cancel and they didnt.

Outside of that you are talking about goodwill from them; some companies are surprisingly reasonable and if their records show no use they will backdate a cancellation but no idea about this particular company.

From their website (under Top FAQs)

We're sorry you want to cancel your membership. To cancel your membership:

Select the Cancel membership button on the Membership panel in My Account.

    Have you cancelled your membership?
Have you asked them about refunding the money you've paid?

Looking at Trustpilot, JustAsk have asked people with complaints the same as yours to get in touch with them.

  • Hi
Ok thanks. I phoned the number they have and was transferred to a person in the Philippines. She said my membership is now cancelled.  The contact webform does not seem to work.  Do you think I have to write to them by post to the USA?

    Which did you use?
The one in my link through your account or the one under 'Contact us'?

There is also a chat option under 'Contact us'.
    Have you tried that?
