Landline Phone/Online Banking Problem?

Not sure whether this should go in banking or here, but:
Switched over to Now Broadband with landline yesterday, and everything seems to be OK - broadband working, phone has dial tone etc.
However, tried my online banking (Bank of Scotland), and received their call as normal during the log-in process, but when I key in the number on screen, the system seemingly isn't recognising that any numbers are being keyed (as opposed to the number being incorrect) - does this sound like an issue with the phone line, or BOS' online banking system (I've never encountered it before now)?
Wondering whether to phone Now or BOS?

Have used another VOIP provider for years and have found for IVR or other response systems I seem to have to type numbers in much slower than I was able to do on my old landline but that was mainly doing the 10 digit code for meetings which I had to type so often it was exceptionally quick.
Dont use BOS but does it not allow you to say the code instead of type it? The one equiv service I've got you can do either.1 -
To confirm, it's the same analogue landline that we've always had, with phone still connected to the master socket.
Never thought about saying the number as I've always keyed it in, but I'll give that a try - thanks.0 -
Hmmm - despite numerous attempts this morning (and therefore multiple calls, key ins...), this time, while intending to speak the number, I first tried keying it in again, and... it worked, as normal!
Temporary online banking issue, and just a coincidence that it happened after the telephone switchover?0 -

I dont know how BOS system works but in the system I've used the computer screen shows the numbers as they are keyed in on the phone (well, it actually shows * but you get what I mean) but it made it easy to spot that when typing too quickly it would not pick up some of the numbers1 -
With BOS, there's just the number you have to key in, and nothing changes on screen until the keyed in number has been accepted, and you've hung up.
A temporary issue?, for whatever reason... fingers crossed!0 -
Happened again today; speaking the code worked fine.
With another bank, the same type of login, where you key in a code, worked fine, so it looks as though it is an issue with BOS?0 -
