Return item but no refund

Hi

im looking for advice.

i bought a dress before Christmas which didn’t fit. I returned it on tracked delivery, have proof of postage and a signature to confirm it was received back at their end.

However, the company is saying they haven’t  received the parcel and the signature on tracked delivery isn’t one of theirs. I’ve checked the address and details and everything is correct. 

As far as I’m concerned I’ve done everything I should have. 

Can anyone advise with where I stand in getting a refund. It was a £200 dress’

  • Send a letter before action of your intention to take them to small claims court - or simply contact your credit card provider........you did pay by credit card as it was over £100 didn't you?
  • I paid on PayPal. 

    I was thinking I give it one last attempt and confirm that I will pursue this further should I not receive a refund. 

    I’m not sure where else to go after that. Their response last week was that they would look for it!

    Lodge a claim through PayPal but do it now rather than wait.
    If there are issues etc, leave it for the seller to explain to PayPal.
    Include your tracking as part of your claim.
