Can't submit actual income for tax credits online

Hello,

I am trying to submit the actual income for tax credit purposes for 2021 to 2022.  However when I go into my tax credits account, there is no option to submit it online? I'm sure there was an option last year so I can't understand why I simply cannot do it.  There is an option to change jobs and income, but that is for 2022 to 2023.   I've tried calling, but no one picks up the phone for hours and they don't even tell you where you are in the queue. 

Help anyone please?  The deadline is tomorrow.

are you confusing tax self assessment (deadline tomorrow) and tax credits (which some changes are reported immediately (within 30 days) and is usually finalised from memory around June/July time - would have been June/July 22 for 21/22 income)

Surely they take actual income from what is published by your employer?

I’m assuming your self employed that’s why it needs to be done by the end of this month. I did mine last week on the phone think it was about a 40 minute wait. Keep trying they do answer.

Thank you all for your replies.

I finally managed to get through thank goodness. It was a very very long wait though, and I was panicking! It was for tax credits to submit my actual self-employed income.  So not renewal of tax credits. The deadline is the same as the tax assessment deadline.   I think not being able to submit online has something to do with the time frame for filing being closed by a certain date....which doesn't make sense because they said we had till the 31st to submit!
