I need to send buik emails for a Community Group

I’m looking for a free or very cheap platform to send bulk emails to our Community Mutual Aid Group members around once or twice a month. I’d prefer there to be no advertising on the email. Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My recommendation would be Mailchimp, but whether it is free depends on how many emails you are going to be sending.

Likewise, seems excellent.

There isn't always a cheap or free alternative for every need.

The free version of Mailchimp includes their branding. That'll probably apply for all the free products. Zoho Campaign is pretty cheap for low numbers.

There have been perennial and unresolved (as far as I am aware) problems with sending out multiple emails

a) FROM a BT email address

b) TO people with BT email addresses

Our charity had to ask some BT-email people to set up (say) a GMail email address to act as the target for outgoing newsletters, etc...

Indeed. I think also sending from iCloud addresses limits (or used to limit) how many people you could BCC.

The OP here has asked a similar question in the Charity section of this forum and I have made that point over there.

Some eMail programs will do bulk mailings. eMClient is one but I think only in the paid version.

how bulk is bulk? 50/500/5000 people, 2 lines of email text or PDF newsletter attachment?
