dcb Legal parking fine, letter of claim... Help!

Hello all! I'm a newbie on this forum and looking for help/ advice.
On 03/03/2019 I received a parking fine from UKPC for leaving my car in a Mcdonald's car park over the allocated time. At the time everyone I knew said to ignore it and they usually leave you alone. Unfortunately, they kept persisting and sending out more threatening letters (I think I must have had between 5 and 10 letters since as well as it was handed over to DCBL). I recently received a letter from DCBL titled 'Letter of claim'. After reading through it, It's sent me into a bit of a panic. From what I can see from the letter it's basically informing me I need to pay the £160 charge within 30 days otherwise it will be taken to court.
If I'm honest at the moment I couldn't afford to pay this amount due to Christmas and birthdays all coming at once as well as the cost of living being so high right now, all money I get is spent on bills and the family. So I guess my question(s) is what can be done about this? is there anyway to get out of the parking fine altogether without it going to court or at least get the amount reduced down to the original £60 it was?
I've done some research and saw I need to fill in something called a SAR form, should this be my next step? or do I need to contact them first? or are there better steps to take first?
I'm new to all this so I don't really know what approach I should take or how to handle it all, so any help will be really appreciated.

Please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, which gives you the process to follow, including how to formulate and send a SAR. Don't forget to tell DCB Legal to put your case on hold for 30 days as you are seeking debt advice (use those words)
Then, read the following thread which tells you the process you need to go through to push UKPC/DCB Legal towards discontinuing your case.If I'm honest at the moment I couldn't afford to pay this amount due to Christmas and birthdays all coming at once as well as the cost of living being so high right now, all money I get is spent on bills and the family.Irrelevant I'm afraid. If a judge tells you to pay £x, that's what you need to pay. Your bills and cost of living won't assist.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you for the help. Could you send me the link for the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, please? (I can't seem to find it, apologies for the inconvenience)Umkomaas said:Please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement0 -
There is no need for a link.
It is at the top of the forum you are already posting on and you already have a link at the top of the page, to hop to page one.
See my signature which tells people this and exactly what the 'breadcrumb trail' (click to page one) link looks like at the top of the page.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
