Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Very dark start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy..
Lunch yesterday was roast pork, lovely it was too, some LO's for another meal - probably tomorrow nights' dinner. Tonight we'll be having southern fried chicken, pizza and chips/jacket potato, side of salad etc.
Back to work this morning, see what sort of state things have been left in! Hoping not too bad.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.I didn't get to post yesterday, but belated birthday wishes for Carolbee and Coxy's Ds, hope you both enjoyed your birthdays. Also, good luck for your interview today Topsy.I don't know why I didn't post yesterday, I kept meaning to. We haven't been on a proposed visit to the seaside either or gone shopping. I nipped to the little Sains yeserday for milk, that's all I 've done in the way of shopping. Though, like a few others, I'm trying to work my way through the freezer, so don't really need to do a "big" shop.I got some washing nearly dry yesterday, so that was good. Also, I emptied our wardrobes, wiped the insides down and vacced the floors, then replaced the clothes. That took a while, then I did a bit of ironing.Today, nothing much is planned, we'll see what presents itself.Hope everyone has as good a day as they can, thinking of our poorlies, Camelot,Topsy' s Ds, Nelski, and anyone else who is not well.Take care folks.11

Morning all early one from me I need to get up to do the hoovering as DS is a night worker and has been moaning about my hoovering whilst he try to sleep so i am going to try to do it before he gets home so hoovering done I will clean the kitchen floor later . Productive weekend out of 6 items listed on FB for free i have 2 left no interest in them but not surprised 1 is a small display/bookcase that was my parents and a coffee table someone made for them in the 70's with lovely brown tiles and burnt dark wood again not my style i will offer them again later this week then its off to the tip on Saturday if no interest. I am off down to the freezer of doom to find a couple of chicken bits to add to the leftovers from sunday dinner other than that a nice quiet day
Hugs to all our poorlies and those with worries . Have a good day whatever you are up to stay safe dry and warm xxSlava Ukraini12 -
Morning folks. My sleep was disrupted by the extremely high and noisy winds which have raged all night. The heavy rain stopped around midnight.Yesterday I was the height of laziness, rose late and retired early. Mind you, I squeezed in a few chores in between doing nothing so I don't feel too guilty.Topsy - my fingers are crossed for your interview. 🤞🤞
For now I wish a Happy Monday to everyone.12 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. We had strong winds through the night but they seem to be calming down - for now!
I hope the birthday people had a good day yesterday. I had the usual slothful weekend so nothing new there, although yesterday morning I managed to exert myself for a while. I changed my bed, got the bedding washed and draped over the airers to dry. It should all be dry now and ready to put away. My lunchtime soup for the coming week also got made and that was about the extent of my exertions!
A text from Boots told me my owing meds are ready so I may pop down into town for those and do a re-stock of the otc meds I seem to have gone through thanks to my month long lurgy symptoms.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, recovering or fed up. Take care all xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -
Morning everyone I am going to meet my friend for a coffee and a catch up this morning not at work until 12 meatballs for tonight I have prepared it just to cook later won’t take long . I have been watching Robson Green and his programs about the north he was a couple of miles from where I live I don’t know when it was filmed obviously in summer but he has really done a good job of showing it off everything looked beautiful and desolate in places which it is in parts but I just can’t remember those lovely warm sunny days seems so long ago it’s still dark here and such a cold wind . Coxy I have been really good this week I hope the scales are good to me tomorrow in fact I did so much excercise yesterday I thought I was going to be sick somebody remind me I am not 21 anymore. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing10

Morning all
windy, but bright here
thanks for all your birthday wishes, I had a lovely day, with very thoughtful gifts and fab food.
good luck Topsy for interview today
we caught the train back from Edinburgh last week and saw some of the north east coastline seenin Robson’s programme, that’s inspired us to do a summer road trip, must get the map out and do some planning. Love the wild coastlines, bit different than ours here in Kent
take care everyoneCarolbee11 -

Morning All
Calmer this morning, last night saw high winds and lashing rain, think I heard every drop as I couldn't sleep at all. Needless to say I'm not at work, the cough is back and has settled on my chest, as is earache so I'm currently number 25 in the queue for a doctors appointment, can't imagine there will be any left once I get through. Oh, I'm number 19 now, some folk must have got fed up!
Good luck today Topsy.
I love the coastline of the North East, must try to catch up with that programme.
Hope you are feeling better dp1 and managed to get to the panto.
I've changed the bed but not sure if it will go out today, I'll see if I have any energy.
Thinking of the poorlies and those struggling, take care. XX
PS I'm number 11 now!
