John thornhill is the biggest seller of eBooks in the UK. He makes around £3000 a month selling resell eBooks on eBay. I joined his membership site in may 2006, stuck at it and now work from home. Originally I started selling eBooks on eBay and made a good profit, with Johns site you get everyone he buys for himself that has resell rights for free, which helps keep the cost down as you don't have to buy any!

His site has a very good members only forum which which as well as eBooks talk about Internet Marketing in general, his site also outlines ways of making money outside eBay which is useful to know. Anyone can make money selling eBooks on eBay you just have to follow the instructions in Johns site to the word and actually get started. Thats the key, if you leave things to tomorrow then the day after you'll never make any money, thats how most people fail.

Anyway if your serious in wanting to sell eBooks John's sites the best thing to help you get started. It costs £50 to join but if you actually do what he tells you and visit his forum which is part of the site you will make that money back. You'll find it if you search for John Thornhill on Google. It's definately £50 well spent though if your serious and have the determination to want a second income or even turn it into a full time living. To do that you'll need to move outside of eBay but Johns site goes though all that sort of stuff.

Actually I'm just going to boast a bit here! You'll probably assume you'll never earn as much as John does for one reason or another. I can tell you thats not true. If you put your effort into any particular field you'll beat him, I have. If you look at his site he shows you many earning screen shots. He has one half way down from an affiliate network, his site also explains a lot about affiliate marketing. But it shows you if you put effort into something then theres no reason why you can't do as well as someone else or even beat them. It's the ninety day power seller site you want rather than his monthly mentor site or any others. Just search for John Thornhill on Google and you'll find his site ninety day powerseller site.

He may be good, I wouldn't know as this is the first I have heard of him, but his web sites are the style that I would run a mile from.

I wouldn't read a word of of, just take one look an hit the back button.

It goes to show then that not all sites are scams and some are genuine. He is well known if you have looked into the eBook market, he has a very good reputation for quaity products. Many sites may be the sort to run a mile from but John's isn't one of them. That why I put one of my affiliate account shots up to compare it with Johns. It shows you he teaches you the stuff you need to know to the point where you can even do better, thats an extremely rare thing to find online which I why I recommend his site so strongly.

I wasn't implying that he was a scammer, just wondered why he picked a web site style that is widely associated with scam sites.

You know the type "Send me $97 and I'll show you how to make $10,000 per day on the internet" etc.

He's just showing the content of his site and demonstrating the potential. And yes it is about earning money. This is where word of month etc can tell you the real ones from the scams. Thats why I posted one of my earning accounts, more so to show that you can achieve more and that John on his site isn't showing you something you can never achieve which a lot of sites do.

I'm no pro at selling e books or in it to make a career out of it. I have been selling e books on e bay for the last 3 years. I started off by buying one for £10 my OH thought i was mad and said it was a complete waste of time and money. I started out by writing my own e book about study skills, i put it on e bay and it was a complete waste of time. I then bought an e book with re-sell rights and copied the ad, i made money and was pleased. I found a site called floodle, they provide free e books, you just download the content to your desktop, they even give you the ad to put on. I have sold the same 3 books for a couple of years and to be honest I make anything frm £75-£120 per month and all i have to do is check my e mails daily and send the e book as an attachment. Basically its free money, apart from the e bay fees. If you want any advice please pm me and i'm more than willing to help you out, its so easy you wouldn't believe and i had no idea how to do it a few yrs ago.

Some ebooks are in pdf format, so this might be worth a look.

Does anyone else not think that the ebay ebook market is too competitive?

You'd be better with your own site selling them but even then you may struggle for traffic.
