Everyone wants a great holiday, especially after the past few years! So, why not try your luck at winning a whopping £5,000 with our game Luckage.

For the chance to win, register for the competition below before 12noon on Friday 10th February 2023, as we'll be picking an entrant each day from Monday 6th February to come to air on Heart Drive with Des & Jennifer and play Luckage.

If you're picked to play, you'll be greeted with Des & Jennifer telling you about the 10 mystery suitcases in the studio, numbered 1 to 10.

You'll get given three general knowledge questions to answer and every correct answer will give you the chance to unzip and open one suitcase, revealing a number of points. Once you've answered the three questions, the game is over and your points will be added to the scoreboard.  Whoever has the most points after the gameplay on Friday 10th February will win that £5,000 for their dream holiday.*

* Entrants must be 18 or over and reside in Scotland. Each day from Monday 6th February 2023 to Thursday 9th February 2023, one entrant will be picked from all online entries at 10am.  On Friday 10th February 2023, one entrant will be selected at 12noon. All entries up until the time of selection, on the day of selection, will be included in the draw. We will call each selected entrant within one hour of picking the entry. One point of contact will be made and if the entrant does not answer their phone we reserve the right to select another entrant. Entrants chosen must be available between 12noon and 4pm from 6th to 10th February 2023 as the entrant chosen will need to be available to speak to programming and pre-record the game play on the day they are selected. January 2023 – Specific Rules

1. The we loveholidays ltd On Air and Online promotion (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from 27th of January 2023 to 10th of February 2023 on Heart Scotland. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is we loveholidays ltd and the ‘Prize Provider’ is Global.

2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

Details of the Promotion:

3.         To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page at https://www.heart.co.uk/scotland register your details and write your dream holiday destination in the answer box provided.

4.         Online entry will open at 00:01 on Friday 27th January 2023 and close at 12:00 (midday) on Friday 10th February 2023. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.

5.         All eligible and correct entries will be entered into a draw. Five entries will be chosen at random during the entry period on the following dates and times:

·       One entry will be chosen on Monday 6th of February 2023 at 10am 

·       One entry will be chosen on Tuesday 7th of February 2023 at 10am 

·       One entry will be chosen on Wednesday 8th of February 2023 at 10am 

·       One entry will be chosen on Thursday 9th of February 2023 at 10am 

·       One entry will be chosen on Friday 10th of February 2023 at 12pm noon

6. These five randomly-selected entrants will be contacted by one of our representatives via telephone on the telephone number with which they registered to enter the Promotion. We will contact the winners within 1 hour of drawing their entry. We may only make one attempt to contact you. If such winner does not respond within 1 hour from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize, and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw.

7. If you are one of these entrants, you must be available on the day your entry is drawn between 12pm and 4pm to play the game Luckage. The game will be conducted over a phone call with the presenters which will pre-recorded for future broadcast. You must answer your telephone when we contact you. Someone else cannot answer the phone, participate or accept a prize on your behalf. If: (i) you fail to answer the phone; (ii) someone else answers the phone; (iii) the call goes to voicemail; (iv) the call becomes disconnected; (v) you are not (or do not seem to us to be) in a position to safely and/or lawfully take or remain on the call (for example, if you are or seem to be driving); or (vi) you are not audible or intelligible or we are not able to conduct a conversation with you in a manner that is suitable for broadcast for any reason beyond our control (including, but not limited to: low/no signal on your device, a call is dropped by any network, you are travelling, there is too much background noise or feedback, etc.); before or during the Promotion, you may be disqualified and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.

8. To play the game Luckage, there will be ten suitcases numbered one to ten for the selected entrants to choose from. One entrant each day will be given 3 general knowledge questions by the presenters, and for each correct answer the entrant gives they can unzip and open one suitcase. On the inside of each suitcase will be a number which will be the contestants number of points. The point in each suitcase opened will be added up and the total number of points for that entrant will be put on a leader board. For the avoidance of doubt, if any entrant provides an incorrect answer to a question, they will not be able to open a suitcase and gain the point(s) as per above. The entrant at the end of the week with the highest number of points on the leader board will be named as the winner of the Promotion. 

9. We, the Prize Provider and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion.

10. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable, in connection with the Promotion. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.

Eligibility:

11. The Promotion is only open to residents of Scotland, aged 18 and over, and who are based in Scotland at the time of entry.

12. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

Prize:

13. One winning entrant will receive £5,000.

14. We will endeavour to transfer the prize money to your bank account within 28 days but are not responsible for any delays. You must provide all necessary details via the method directed within 14 days after the original request to do so otherwise the prize will be forfeited at our discretion.

15. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. By way of example, without limitation, transport is not included within the prize.

16. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available except at our sole discretion.

17. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Data Protection:

19. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to the Phone-paid Services Authority, Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.

20. By entering a Promotion, you acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy https://www.loveholidays.com/about-us/privacy-policy.html. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you consent to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.

21. You may be asked if you want to opt-in to marketing from us and/or our Promotion Partner when you enter a Promotion. If you choose to opt-in, we and/or our Promotion Partner will use your personal data for marketing purposes (see Global's Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy for more details). You can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by unsubscribing.

22. We, our Promotion Partner and the prize providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the EEA and UK for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where any transfers are made outside of the EEA or UK we and the Promotion Partner will ensure appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data are in place.

23. We will hold your personal data for a period of up to 3 years in order to comply with our regulatory obligations.

24. You may request the removal of your personal details from our database by contacting privacy@global.com. If you request that your personal details be removed prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
