My daughter in law is expecting and due in March. She had a job but finished in December. She hadn’t been there very long about 2 months (didn’t find out about bump until 18 weeks). Is there any help she can apply for? TIA

She could use a benefit calculator to check a benefits calculator to see if she has any entitlement to Universal Credit. If she is living with a partner entitlement is based on their joint circumstances and they would both have to claim. If UC is not applicable she could look at Maternity Allowance.
https://www.gov.uk/maternity-allowance/eligibilityIf eligible for UC there is no financial claim claiming MA too as the MA is deducted from the UC.
Note that UC entitlement would, if applicable, increase after the birth.
