    Morning.

IA, where do you get these Christmas pics from? I think they're brilliant.

Busy day ahead - visit to the garage to see when we can get the car fixed (really starting to annoy me now), lots of appointments to make, presents and cards to deliver, food to cook and freeze ...

Maybe I should consider crawling out of bed then.

Morning guys! Need to go to waitrose to buy one last (well, almost last) Christmas present with a pigsback voucher.

also need to start wrapping presents up.......I am sure that December has been caught up in a time warp of some sort - it is only 5 mins ago that it was November!

Ok I just need to have a something...

My Boss has not been in all week as his Father is really ill. Well he has just rung in and asked that no one contact him for the next couple of Days as things are really bad. He was moved into a Hospice over the weekend and by the sounds of it they are just waiting....

Between that and poor Jo's nephew it's not been a good week and I know you shouldn't take on other peoples problems but it would really make me feel better if I could do something. Why does Christmas make these things 10 time worse than they would be anyway.

The whole office is really low and quite I think we all feel a little helpless and it's not a feeling I can cope with.

Sorry to bring you all down, you really do need to live for today don't you.

Lucy, that is so true. I've just read about Jo's nephew and it's awful. I'm now sitting here crying, thinking about my mum who died 3 years ago, and about everything she has and will miss in our lives.

On the positive side, when mum died, I looked at everything in my life and worked out what was important to me. As a result I took the huge leap of giving up my well paid job to go back to uni. I know she would be proud of me and that helps but I still miss her every day.

Morning all, I've been up since 4 watching the cricket and had a doc's appt for my certificate about my knee.

  • Morning all.........brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.............my toes are freezing.

I have to say, this is the time of year I fancy pinching a couple of kids so they can do all the christmassy things like nativity and see Father Christmas.......obviously I'd be happy to hand them back about 2pm on Christmas Day when they've opened the presents and are arguing about what to play with next and brother/sister won't share!

Turkey and meat comes today. Seems a bit early but the farm have said it will be fine in the fridge. i'll probably freeze the rest though as I don't need that until after the big day.

Laura - probably the best thing you can do is to cover as much for your Boss as possible. If his Dad has gone into a Hospice, it probably is now about waiting. Although work won't be on his mind, anything you can do to keep things moving along smoothly will be really appreciated.

I did that a little when one of my Aunt's died suddenly last year. I started to lose some weight and eventually decided to face my debt as I want to be able to enjoy my life.

I just hate to see other people suffering.
