Hi, me and my fiancé are both selling our homes and buying one together. I have a BTL in my name, will we have to pay the higher rate SDLT if the new mortgage is in both names?

If on the date of purchase (completion) of your new property, you are legal owner of more than 1 property then you will pay higher rate of stamp duty.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
