Do they stop your UC completely if you have too much savings? Might you still receive a % of it? Housing element perhaps 🤔

If your capital/savings goes over £16,000 entitlement to UC ends.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1

No because UC has replaced all means tested benefits. Housing element is part of UC which is means tested. Even if there was if you have savings of more than £16,000 there's no entitlement to any means tested benefits.

You should use your substantial savings to pay your rent. When your savings are depleting you will then be able to reclaim UC.2
