Understanding Personal Injury Claim

Hi,
I’m after some advice please!
I was rear ended whilst waiting stationary at the traffic lights a while back! The other insurers accepted liability. After medicals and physio, CBT and hospital scans, I recently received a call from my solicitor stating that they were doing a part 7 claim? Something to do with stages not being paid. She couldn’t go into much detail because she was new to my case so had limited information. I’m just wondering if anyone can advise what this means part 7/stages not being paid and what does this mean for my claim?
thank you in advance

Part 7 is just means legal proceedings are being issued... its the normal path through the courts in a civil matter. If the dispute is over the law rather than the facts of the case there is a special procedures under Part 8.
It simply means there is either a dispute on liability or quantum (value) either because both sides are communicating well but disagreeing or because one side is unresponsive and so assumed not to be in agreement.1
