Morning all...would you believe almost no decluttering yesterday? I started, then looked out the window and saw my elderly neighbour up a wooden ladder chopping down a tree. Not that he's not capable at all, but the floor was slippery etc, so I went and held the ladder. Gave me an opportunity to give him half a christmas cake too, so I suppose that counts So of course, once I'd held the ladder for a bit, I decided now was the time to cut down some tree suckers, as well as some branches that were overhanging the pavement so I did that for a while and filled the green bin and a tump on the back garden. Course I was pooped after that so I had late dinner and fell asleep. Woke up in time to watch a programme I wanted to see, may have been about rubbish, may not have been [ ok , it was...] then watched a bit more mindlessnessness and went to bed at three after playing computer games with OH. Today, I'll be on it...honest...Probably..And I have a virus of some sort, my nose is doing a marathon...Talking of your cleaner Gers, I wonder if Nels still has hers?

Ruby, gnochhi..drool. I love gnocchi..Might have to have some for lunch now...Rosy, we should just buy one together and take turns like a holiday let Coxy, I sometimes think the CS is one of the wrost places to work because of that psychology. Camelot, well done on new eyebrows Actually, I've been thinking about getting some extra eyelashes recently, I do look a bit p** shole in the snow....Topsy, that's a proper bashing he's had then, he was very lucky. carolbe, hope the film was enjoyable, the decorating done and the carpet is ordered... nanny, hope you didn't play jack in the box last night again...Take care all, hugs n stuff to the people who are not 100%, drink warm things and wrap up..not as cold, but still not warm...

decorating in progress, carpet being fitted one week today. Just skirting and door frame to do now.

just rejigged our annual budget for next year, as sold our second car. On paper we always look as if we have more than we do. Going to go back to writing down every penny spent and see where it’s going.....

Afternoon all, I'm late but I've been out playing with hoovers 😁 We went to Curry's where we were the only customers and well outnumbered by staff. I tried the Shark and the Vax for weight, neither of which were in stock but apparently I could order on line and collect from the store 🙄. Not very enamoured with the service in Curry's, seems to me to be a couldn't care less attitude by staff and very little to buy in store. No chance of going back today on principle, so came home and ordered it from Argos to be delivered here this afternoon. Rant over. I also returned a roll of wallpaper to BnQ and got lovely service with a smile, plus I'm £26 better off now. I'll probably use that buy paint sometime in the future when I decide on the colour, I'm a glutton for punishment 😂 
I have a bit of tidying to do this afternoon and the dw to empty. Tea today will be a "use it up" omelette as there are a few eggs, peppers and a couple of slices of bacon left in the fridge. I've got lots of cheese too, don't know why I bought the last lot when I really didn't need it yet.
Topsy sorry I missed your post about your son, hope he recovers well even if it takes a long time.
Poppy hope you go from strength to strength.
Have a good day at work if you can, it's horrible when there's an atmosphere. Good luck to the decorators and the declutterers, hugs to the poorlies.

Afternoon everyone I don’t know how I have time to work enjoying my week off but I’ve never stopped I went to do my cleaning job this morning which is at the top of a great big steep hill I huffed and puffed my way up it and got to the door and realised I had left my door key in the house so that was a good start so I had to go back and walk it all again never mind hopefully it will be more calories burnt . I have had the dog out for a good run so that’s my excercise for the day I’ve got a piece of salmon out for tonight I will use some odds and sods,of salad I have left with it hubby is having a fry up. Topsy I hope your son is recovering he’s had a horrible time poppy hope you are improving stay safe and warm everyone it’s still chilly here but it is a bit brighter. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Hope everyone is ok or as well as can be expected xxxx
so my news (this really isn’t exciting 🤣) was I was going to finish at cadets as a volunteer as I cannot devote enough time or energy….I have a rare form of cancer ….. and have been trying to get some kind of work life balance. I’ve been volunteering for many years and would miss it terribly. 

Anyway I let the CO know, walked in last night and promptly burst into tears.
they told me I didn’t have to leave, they would rather I turned up now and then for coffee and a chat and I felt heaps better. It’s my escape from work and home and I don’t get out much. (That sounds terrible 🤣)

Thank you all for your support. Today has been quite tough. Ended up driving to Colchester to collect his property from the police station, said 45 mins each way it took me over 2.5 hours. Been on the phone & email trying to get an appointment to pick up the bike, it has taken me 4 days to try and get a collection appointment and still they wanted a copy of his driving license, the reason I had to go to Colchester as it was in his wallet in his trouser pocket.

Poppy nice to see you posting. Snoozer hope you managed some sleep. Gers - I am still in the process of doing the email.
