Hi I have been trying to contact TESCO FOR 2weeks of my credit card in CREDIT as my credit cards are not working so I phoned customer service nearly every day all they do is pass on to security but they never pick up even the customer service has tried themselves every time but after 10 minutes they give me direct number to contact them I do it and for over an hour no answer now I don’t know how or where to contact I even complained but still no answer I don’t know where to go please please can someone help as I have about £1,200 credit my money in credit extra I paid twice by mistake and I can’t get to it nor did he security calls me the TESCO customer service says they will call the security people but I never get a call now I don’t know where to go please someone kindly help me I’m 64 year old I don’t know what or where to go thanks

Hi why are your credit cards not working? Have you tried contacting them on social media? Could you close your accounts and have the balance forwarded to you? You have broken their T&C's by putting the card into a positive balance I'm 49 year oldDebt Free: 01/01/2020

Unfortunately it's not unheard of for queued calls (to institutions in general, not necessarily Tesco specifically) to take over an hour before being answered, so if you continue to hold you should get there eventually.
Having said that, if you keep getting cut off, or don't get promised callbacks, then insist on the front line customer service team logging a formal complaint for you:

Have you asked customer service to refund the over payment? If it is the latter all you can really do other than the above, is keep trying & just wait. It could be they feel that something is not right with the double payment.
