CCJ REPAYMENT

I have taken to court a customer who owed me for services provided.  I have used a Solicitor, at considerable cost and the debt has now increased to just under £5000.  There is a CCJ recorded. High Court Baliffs attended the business address and reported back, no contact with the debtor and was aware the property was owned by a family member.  On investigation I am aware there is another CCJ for a much larger amount than mine.  Company House were about to do a second strike off but someone has objected therefore meaning they can carry on in business.  Today I have received a text message from the debtor suggesting they will start paying me back in Febuary, no suggestion of how much etc. How do I deal with this, I would have thought a formal agreement would be the answer.  I do not wish to go back to the original web base Solicitor. Any help and guidance will be much appreciated

Speak to the high court enforcement officers about the defendants offer of payments.
  • It’s incredibly frustrating but obtaining judgement does not mean you will get paid so be prepared that you may end up with nothing. Some know how to play the game.
