Many may not see this RAC cover part of car insurance...

My renewal was due with LV. I haggled that RAC were nearly £100 cheaper. They would not budge much. When I went to RAC I noticed they let you add RAC recovery really cheaply (even free sometimes) then I realized that I pay £13.00 a month for my RAC cover already. By joining RAC Insurance I saved around £80 for the policy. Then adding the £85 options for home RAC Home Recovery cover... it brought it in line with LV's renewal quote of £360... However when I took the £156 that I pay for RAC recovery for the year from my premium (RAC quote) which came to £362... my Insurance INCLUDING RAC home start is now only £206.00 all in!
So beat LV renewal by a massive £156... It might not appear to you straight away when comparing insurance deals. But worth a look if you have RAC breakdown already but need to renew your car insurance... and I suspect, like me you will save a good bunch of lovelies
Hope that makes sense, never been one to explain as eloquently as Martin Lewis does
