Excel Parking Ticket Ignored Appeal

Hi,
My mum got a parking ticket for overstaying in a car park for about 20 mins. The pictures on the first letter only show the car entering and leaving the car park. I appealed the parking ticket via their online "myparkingcharge" website within the allotted appeals timeframe (I think its 30 days) and as the NTK. I also stated that they have failed to comply with POFA as the ticket was not issued within the 14 days of the incident.
They have though ignored and not even acknowledged my appeal and stated that it was not done. Unfortunately I did not take screenshot showing that I appealed. They have since sent a 2nd letter asking for an increase amount of £170.00
Should I write them a letter stating the above, or just wait for a court letter?
Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can't appeal your mum's PCN so (unless you did it in her name) they were right to ignore unsolicited contact from a third party (you). Unless you are the registered keeper and the PCN came to you?
Respond again only at LBC stage.
Ignore £170 debt demands.
And obviously if this is Mum's PCN (letters addressed to her) she responds, not you.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-mad,
We have now received a final demand letter from excel asking for the £170 payment witinh 7 days or they will commence court proceedings. I was reading through the newbie guide and im not sure if this is LBC. It mentons a LBC has 30 days on it i think. If it is an lbc i was going to send an Sar request to them.
Thanks

Therefore, in the eyes of the law, your mother has not received a Letter Before Claim.
However, there is no need to wait for a Letter Before Claim before sending the parking company a Subject Access Request. No point in delaying that.2 -
Thank you ill get that sent off by email.1
