Car repair advice

Hello,
Looking for advice please,
Involved in a no fault accident May 2022 - my insurer admiral said if I chose to go through Auxillis I dont need to pay excess so I do this. Allow them to pick garage arrange repairs and get me courtesy car.
Long story short as of today my car is still in the garage, parts shortage apparently (although reviews of said garage terrible, all people like myself reffered there through insurance)
What can I do? Ive raised a complaint. Courtesy car has cost 16.5k in charges so far where my car was worth maybe 12k max! I want to sell mine but values diminished while its sits rusting away!
As an aside the courtesy car has also been crashed into, again, no fault. So now the stress this has caused means my wife wont drive it, which is making life very difficult. I do not want the courtesy car, its a stress i dont need!
I feel they are cashing in somewhere as the original accident was with an unisured driver so i assume they are able to claim exorbitantly for this?
My ideal is they just write it off now, can i request this?
Thanks in advance

Crikey. I don't want to add to your worries, but are you sure you're not going to be liable for some of these costs at some point? Have you checked in with your insurer? There's usually an obligation to minimise your costs, and someone will have to pay an enormous bill eventually. It won't be the third party's insurer because there isn't one, so who's left, other than you and your insurer?

I believe they claim from the insurers bureau. Ive had it confirmed on the phone i wont be liable but going to get this in writing now.0
