I also have a meaco dehumidifier and have not experienced wallpaper bubbling.

it's normally high humidity that causes wallpaper to bubble or peel.Is there an underlying damp / water ingress problem that you're trying to solve with the dehumidifier?0

I'm not sure if this is going to be of any help but I have a Meaco machine and I've been running it for some days in order to deal with the effects of a water leak in the room above - water was dripping through the ceiling.
I noticed earlier on in the process that one bit of wallpaper on the ceiling appeared loose at a join between two pieces but now, after about six days, there are about 8 places where the paper appears a bit loose at joins. I can't quite work out why this happens at the ceiling dries but that's what is happening.

The wallpaper gets wet, the glue becomes unstuck, when it dries, the wallpaper sags. Once it's wet enough, the damage is done, it's paper after all. A dehumidifier isn't going to reattach itMurmansk said:I'm not sure if this is going to be of any help but I have a Meaco machine and I've been running it for some days in order to deal with the effects of a water leak in the room above - water was dripping through the ceiling.

in my case i am using meaco due to high levels of condensation, there is no sign of any water ingress anywhere.
the bubbling has appeared on the ceiling in the hallway.Nice to save.0 -
Wallpaper bubbles because of condensation. People buy dehumidifiers because of condensation.Correllation, not causation.0

Do you have solid wall? What is your inside humidity?0
-
we have solid walls, not quite sure about inside humidity, but when first started using dehumidifier , set it at 85 , then when noticed wallpaper lifiting, reduced it to 55, as we thought that may have been cause.
have been suffering for many years with condensation in property , but wallpaper never lifted before, so thought use of dehumidifier might be causing it.Nice to save.0 -
We have solid walls and have to run a dehumidifier all through the winter .
We have never had any peeling or bubbling wallpaper anywhere in the house.
We did have before we got the damp course renewed and started using the dehumidifier because of water being drawn into and through the old solid brick walls.
A dehumidifier would not cause problems like this it reduces the possibility of problems like this.0
