Tracking states: Rejected Oversize at Outward RDC

Hi. Hope someone can help.

I recently bought some items from ebay and chose Evri as the courier since I’ve rarely had any issues with them. Unfortunately, seller decided to send via Royal Mail Tracked 48.

This was posted off on Monday and should arrive tomorrow. However, I decided to check tracking today and on the ebay app it states: Rejected Oversize at Outward RDC. I’m guessing it means how it sounds; that it was rejected due to being too big.

My question is; is there still a chance that it may arrive tomorrow? Or will it most likely be returned back to the seller?

I had this same error on a parcel I sent, it basically means a problem scanning and had to be input manually, this I was told by the sort office manager.
It’s poor wording but my parcel arrived a day or two later without further problems and tracked as delivered.
Incidentally the 48 hours is only an aim and not a guarantee.

Yep. It arrived a day later than expected, but thankfully in the morning so I could make use of it for my holiday. Just annoyed that the seller sent via a different courier than I chose and didn't have the decency to let me know about the change.
