For a few years now, I've had 10% of my wife's tax allowance transferred to me. I now want to cancel this and I can see where I can do it online.

Two questions though.

Would it have been me who requested this initially or would it have needed to be my wife who did it? I can't remember.

Secondly, if I want this to apply to the next tax year (2023 - 2024) and beyond, when is the best time to cancel the transfer? Perhaps the online form will allow me to specify this but some advance knowledge would be useful.
