For god sake - last one! It's saying to entered details of any defence I've got in section 10 box of n244. I've just stated
    "1. Witness statement
    2. Draft order
    3. Phone recording x2"

Should I then send word documents separately?

You should choose an in-person hearing or remote hearing.

Re the defence, state that a substantive defence will follow once the Defendant has finally seen the allegations in the form of a claim, but the defence is likely to focus on signage, lack of agreed contract, lack of legitimate interest and other matters dependant upon the Claim and any further and better Particulars & evidence being finally supplied by the Claimant.

Do not send anything separately.  One email, then phone up and pay the fee.

    P.S. You'd be a great addition here!

Without going back through the threads, I believe that @Sasanova either has been refunded or will eventually be refunded the fee. This was a problem caused by the CCBC. They are now on record as having a batch of claims that were never served properly and they must investigate this and refund any set asides that have been paid to correct the problem.
100% agree. Think we'll team up and go for it too considering we've both been affected on same dates. Very worrying how many others out there have been affected by this and have just paid up!

Hey hey - N244 application and supporting documents were submitted on Friday and done them today again just in case as noticed a different email on the email I got sent from the particulars to the one I found online. Unfortunately I finished work at 16:00 Friday and waited on the phone till 17:00 (when they closed) to only be told today that the payment line is open from 07:00-15:00. After having to call back twice after being hung up on & a 2 hour phone call I finally managed to get the n244 fee paid.

I did express my concerns to the CCBC staff about if parkingeye decide to take things further and if it looks like I’ve ignored the process and what happens during the wait time for the judge to review. (Bearing in mind the judgment expiry date is 18th February but she reassured me that I’ve taken action today so that any future action taken by the claimant should be able to be put on hold/paused and I can prove that. She was actually really helpful for the first time I’ve spoken to anyone at the CCBC!

ParkingEye don't put on any real pressure but you will get a CCJ while you wait for it to be set aside.  It will show on your credit rating if it hasn't already.

  • Legend. Yeah shown on my credit file. Even work notified me about it. All good. I’ll be super surprised if the judge turns around and doesn’t cancel it!!!
  • @Coupon-mad - hi hope you’re ok. Haven’t heard back yet but have received another letter from DCBL saying I haven’t paid my CCJ and they have permission from the courts to take action etc and that I need to pay within 14 days otherwise they’ll take enforce more action. Should I send anything to them saying that I’m awaiting for the N244 to go through?

Yes you must, if it is over £600 (because you'd otherwise have HCEOs knocking on your door).

If it's under £600 I think @Grizebeck might tell you that this DCB LTD letter is hot air.
