Claiming Tax back on PPI claim - what tax year does it go against

Hi I received a PPI claim back in June 2019, and am currently filling in the R40 forms what tax year does this go against, 06/04/19 - 05/04/2020? or the one before?

The financial year in which the interest was paid... so 2019/2020 as you say.1
