Yes my turkey did arrive last night. Only problem was no loo rolls!! Argh... Surely they could have substituted something for loo rolls?? Now I have to get somebody to come and take me out, to go and get some????

Thanks for your constructive critism, hard to when you have a child frightened of supermarkets due to a medical condition and hence home delivery. However, I did have to take him up Sainsbury and had to put up with him screaming all the way round. Unlike some I don't have the luxury of being able to dump my child with whoever will have him so I choose to PAY for someone to deliver my groceries for me and they choose to remove my order without telling me is out of order as I am relying on that food to feed my children at Xmas. And what about the extra £5 I have to now pay to get the turkery? i still have to pay Tesco to deliver the rest of the stuff.

Apparently they are not subbing now unless you specifically ask for it (so told this morning via email!).

Please don't assume that everyone lives where they have a supermarket on their doorstep either. Some of us live in the country where the only other alternative is paying £30 from the local butcher or farm shop. However I like to support local business, paying £30 for some meat is too expensive for me - hence getting it from Tesco.
