  • Can you share details about the battery firmware upgrade and the cable?  I have some new uhome 2400 and some old ones, but the old ones don't seem to want to register in the new app.  Infinity won't speak to me direct, and the installer wants to charge me £100 to come out and update the firmware with a device.  I thought the network connection was so firmware could be updated remotely?

Yes I'm happy to send you the kit, instructions and memory stick. So the firmware, for the old style batteries, was provided by infinity Jan 2024. I have used it successfully, so have others I have sent the equipment too aswell. Once the firmware update, it seems that the old batteries can then be added to your stack in the app and you get the same info you already see for your new batteries. I've never known the firmware for uhomes be updated OTA. You can DM me with your address etc. At present I don't have the equipment, it's with Ian Atkin, he's on this forum so will see this post. Ian

I think I'm done with the kit now, so I can send it straight on if one of you sends me the address, or I can return it and then you can send it on, either is fine with me.
